Vesper is a digital platform focused on delivering a refined and forward-thinking financial experience, built around clarity, rigor, and deep-rooted vision.
Depth of Field was commissioned to create an inspirational video for an overview of Vesper Finance product, a DeFi platform, ahead of its public launch.
The film uses a full abstract 3D storyline to explain the product through motion, design, form and editing progression. The VSP token was used as a narrative anchor.
The video aims to translate complex decentralized finance concepts into a discovery journey that is straightforward, intuitive, and brand-focused.
Vesper’s platform is built on decentralized finance protocols that are invisible and highly intricate and abstract by essence.
Our challenge was to create a 3D product overview video that could communicate the platform's logic, scale, and reliability, while the product itself was still in development.
The film follows the Vesper (VSP) token as it travels through a series of connected 3D environments. Each space introduces a different aspect of the platform, using scale, motion and transformation to show function and interaction.
Rather than isolating features, the film presents the platform as one continuous system. Seamless transitions between scenes emphasize the flow and stability of the platform showcasing the core idea of the unified DeFi ecosystem Vesper has in its product.
The visual system was built around clean geometry, controlled but bright lighting, and Vesper’s vibrant brand colors. This allowed for the motion to be used deliberately to reveal structure, hierarchy, and the relationships between different elements that compose the product.
Abstract financial concepts, such as tokens and protocols, benefit from being visualized in a 3D space, where depth, movement, and spatial continuity make the unseen systems legible.
This allowed the film to function as a product overview without relying on literal representations, inspiring the users and reinforcing brand values and positioning.
The final film is an exciting overview of the Vesper platform at launch, showcasing complex technical DeFi concepts into a clean but cohesive story.
Working closely with Vesper, with weekly calls to align throughout all the stages of process, this was the first project of an ongoing collaboration with Vesper Finance.
